Dr. Sheri Ah-Sue, MB BCh BAO, FRCPC
Dr. Ah-Sue is an Occupational Psychiatrist and Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is a staff psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health(CAMH) working at the Work Stress and Health Program, a multidisciplinary program specializing in workplace mental health and addiction.
In addition to providing training for psychiatry and occupational medicine residents, Dr Ah-Sue performs Independent Medical Examinations (IME) for worker’s compensation, private insurers, employers, unions, and regulatory bodies.
She completed psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto and medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Dr. Nadia Aleem, MD FRCPC
Dr. Aleem brings over 15 years of expertise in occupational mental health, delivering evidence-based assessments and strategic guidance across diverse industries. She is a sought-after speaker, providing high-impact workshops and keynote presentations for multinational corporations and leading academic institutions.
Dr. Aleem has completed medical training in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine with additional certification in Addiction Medicine. She currently serves as Mental Health Lead at Insight Solutions (Trillium Health Partners) and Corporate Medical Director at the Cleveland Clinic, where she advises on complex mental health, workplace, and organizational matters. Previously, Dr. Aleem held senior leadership roles at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), including Medical Head of the Work Stress and Health Clinic and Medical Head of both inpatient and outpatient Mood and Anxiety Programs. She is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, contributing to education, research, and clinical leadership.

Dr. Ash Bender, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Bender is an Occupational Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a staff psychiatrist at CAMH and former Medical Head of the Work, Stress and Health Program, which is a multidisciplinary program specializing in workplace mental health and addiction.
Dr. Bender is a longstanding member of the Occupational Medicine program residency committee and continues to provide training and publish in the domain of mental health and work. As an expert, he has performed numerous independent evaluations for worker’s compensation, private insurers, employers, unions, regulatory bodies and the courts.
He consults to several large organizations, including RBC Insurance, SickKids, Metrolinx and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Clinically, Dr. Bender works part-time with forensic populations at the Toronto South Detention Centre.

Dr. Vivian Sapirman, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Sapirman is an Occupational Psychiatrist and Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is the Mental Health Physician Lead at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Medical Advisor at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and Associate Medical Director of Wellness and Mental Health at Teladoc Health Canada, as well as a psychiatrist with Women's College Hospital.
In addition to her leadership roles in disability management and Occupational Psychiatry, Dr. Sapirman has co-authored a curriculum in Occupational Psychiatry that she presents to psychiatry residents across the province. Dr. Sapirman also provides expert consultation in Occupational Psychiatry to York Region's Employee Health Unit.
Dr. Sapirman is an accomplished speaker with extensive speaking experience that includes small and large group presentations, customized workshops, and invited speaking engagements across occupational areas in the public and private sectors.
Dr. Sapirman completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Toronto and medical school at McMaster University.

Dr. Maurice Siu, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Maurice Siu completed his training in psychiatry at the University of Toronto in June 2003. He has been licensed to practice psychiatry in the province of Ontario since July 2003. He completed his certification in Forensic Psychiatry in November 2015. He has a special interest in forensic psychiatry, addiction medicine, and workplace mental health.
He completes independent medical examinations for employers, insurance companies, lawyers, the WSIB, and regulatory bodies (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), and the Law Society of Ontario (LSO)).
